"If you’re looking for a special place for a drink, Dalchini in Wimbledon (London’s first Indo-Chinese restaurant) has launched Holy Brew, an amazing new Speakeasy bar inspired by their Indo-Chinese heritage, to celebrate the restaurant's 25 years. Holy Brew aims to be a tribute to the ancient art of drink-making and Indian mythology and tradition. Hidden away and accessed only through a secret door in the restaurant, a lit staircase leads you down to the atmospheric Speakeasy bar where their exquisite drinks and cocktails are freshly prepared in celebration of India's ancient deity drinking culture and flavours. Like their food upstairs in their landmark restaurant, the sumptuous cocktails and drinks are all about celebrating taste and Indic flavours and are custom-prepared in the bar with fresh ingredients. We tried the 'Parvati Potion' and the 'Maya's Mango Margarita,' which were delicious, served with amazing tapas of fresh breaded sea bass. To follow we tried their velvety whiskey sour which made a really refreshing change to the overly-sweet cocktails that many bars serve, with a blend of fresh ‘dalchini’ (meaning ‘cinnamon,' which their restaurant is named after). Super-sophisticated yet very relaxed, this unique new venue is an absolute treat and perfect for a celebration, date night or a meet up with the girls.”

Inviting you to a world of myth, revelry, and enchanting flavours, each cocktail is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the bar’s inspiration from ancient Indian deities and legends: Shiva’s Trance, a potent blend of gin, basil, and coriander, infused with a hint of chilli, invoking the transformative powers of Lord Shiva; Varuni’s Elixir, a refreshing mix of vodka, cucumber, and mint, with a touch of cumin, inspired by the goddess Varuni, the deity of wine and soma; and Kali’s Fury – a fiery combination of tequila, tamarind, and black pepper, capturing the fierce and vibrant spirit of the goddess Kali.
