Lou’s Adhoc Childcare
I am a mum of three, eldest is 22. All of my children are neurodiverse.
I have worked with children since I was 16 and qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1998. In mixed-age settings, I usually found myself with the babies!
Over the years I have worked in nurseries, a creche and in the children's own homes. Between 2016 and 2020 I had an after school job, picking the child up from school, taking him where he needed to go or we just hung out.
During the Covid period, I enjoyed working regularly with the same families, being creative with activities including cooking, craft, playdough, board games and taking the children out. The families have had mixed-age ranges but usually at least one school aged child. You will find me reliable, trustworthy, always willing to try new things, kind and polite. Always happy to adapt to the families parenting style.
I was nominated by two families for the Bubble Sitter Award 2021, which I won!
Services
I offer day-time or evening childcare for a minimum of three hours
I have many years experience from babies to teens
DBS check May 2024 (and am signed up to the update service)
Paediatric First Aid valid from Dec 2021
