What Keren’s Nursery teaches
The curriculum at Keren’s Nursery is rich and carefully designed by the nursery's team of educators to support each child to achieve their full potential.  As a Jewish nursery, children are exposed to the traditions of a variety of Jewish festivals throughout the year, such as Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) Chanucah and Passover, alongside Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Easter, Pancake Day, World Book Day, to name but a few. "We love to celebrate!” adds Keren.

The nursery is filled with children speaking and understanding many different languages, reflecting their diversity. As part of the settling in process, teachers learn each child’s key familiar words in their prime language, then model the same words in English, making sure the child hears both languages, often using visual prompts to help understanding. In addition, each child is greeted in the morning in their prime language, setting the scene for an enjoyable day.

Forest School sessions
All children regularly access Forest School sessions led by Level 3 qualified Forest School leaders and children play outside daily. "We have a strong belief that time outside, independence and creativity are key for happy children,”says Keren.
